im back from greece/turkey! and it was a fun trip la. better than the other learning journeys i guess ;) not including hue la hahah~
basically.. my roommates for the trip were dear yeowhua and lizheng and im wondering if i shud upload this hilariously funny photo of yh which was randomly taken ;) but i seriously wonder if he'll kill me hhahahhaa! i just burst out LOL-ing literally when i saw the picture i had took. hahaha~ ask me about it and mayb ill send it to you xD dun kill me hor yeowhua.
anyway first up, paiseh to everyone who talked to me today but i didnt reply. i was sleeping from 2pm to 12am. woke up and bathed, blog hopped a bit and am here bloggin at 130am purely cause i cant really sleep. actually i think if i try to sleep i can la haha but dunno~ feelin psychotic. will go lie down afterwards or sth.
so yea anyway basically we spent 4days in greece and around 6days in turkey.
teachers who went were dennisau, feliciakuo, and seokwheeeee! our local tourguides name is angie.
people who went:
sebastian, ewen, bryan
weijie mervyn zishun
noel henri leonthye
me lize yh
junwei tzewei ajay
so yea first day we reached went touring la! like after our stupid long flight of 11hours ish and sleepin for a little while only, went touring around athens like the city places and stuff. tourings basically it la but the acropolis and stuff were actually quite cool la. and i guess its really marvellous to get this feeling knowing that the spot you were standing on was actually a great civilization thousands of years ago (seriously.) like 2-3000 BC like that heh.
i geuss the touring part of the trip was basically just nothing much la. visiting ruins, looking at places, temples etc all pretty much the same la~ it really got pretty boring after a while. as in sight seeing la~ maybe troy and like temple of olympian zeus and those more famous stuff were more interesting but still, as sebastian from sec3 put, after all its just like looking at rocks placed on the ground in this manner heh. yes some structures are nice and great to have withstood a couple thousand years and lasted till this very day but i guess, next time la? ;)
the more interesting parts of the trip were:

4. gettin emo xD
5. the teachers/people

1. hotel stays -
actually i didnt have much troubles with the hotels la even though yh and lize would just say im dam humji and whole day kope the centre bed xD but ah well even i sleep at the sidecan oso la hahah~ but HECK! i dun care hahahhaha
the most fun was the first night la cause we were all like excited being our first night in greece then like we got the biggest room some more! of all the hotels we always tio the biggest room! heehee... lucky stars ~ so like ya it was dam stupid cause yh said he heard noises then stupid lize say the toilet light was on even though he thought he off-ed it. ended up most probably the noises were from lize and lize WENT to the toilet and didnt turn it off, and just totally forgot about it! irritating rite
at least now i noe lize is more scared than me ;)
then there was another hotel which was located near the temple of olympian zeus or sth i think. its the place where the lighting of the olympic torch will start everytime. its like we got the biggest room again but we traded rooms -.- cause lize was scared to sleep 'alone' cause like the beds were segmented into 2beds wall 1bed haha. then being the evil yh and me, we koped the two beds together la and left the last one to lize hhah~ so he didnt want to sleep 'alone' la so we ended up changing rooms with the people next door.
basically dats it about hotels la, other than the freaky bathrooms (ok not erally but i just prefer my homes one) and other lame stuff like junwei and weijie crashin our rooms to chat ahhaha~ was pretty much like that la!
ok next..
2. walking around/talking -
yea was dam fun walking around la! lookin at shops, going shoppin a bit :D cause like the weathers dam nice! not like super hot singapore, its dam cool over there at like 10degress haha. the weathers seriously ok la as long as there's no wind. 2 layers easily can liao then just throw one windbreaker on top of that and ur settled. dunno why the pig lize whole day complaining cold la!
so yea bought two shirts from topshop in turkey for 44lira which is equivalent to SGD$44 oso haha~ was good la cause it was 50% discount but i think they might be a little too smalll >< should be ok la but hope i dun look weird! haha just heck la~ can wear can liao.
walking around in turkey was relatively more interesting than walking in greece la. basically we only walked around in athens/istanbul which are the more city-like places in the greece and turkey. went to the orchardroads of the two places. coming to think of it i didnt really spend a lot as i still had like 200euros left after the trip.
similarly, coming to think of it, the main reasons of why walking around was interesting was cause of the chance to talk with the teachers and stuff and just chat la~ try to uncover scandalous details which yh likes xD and other other stuff la. just chattin oso quite fun in the nice weather. over a heavenly cup of hot chocolate. wah missing it liao.
for the talking part, feliciakuo is a pretty fun person la. but towards the later part of the trip, i started gettin pissed wif many people la dunno why, maybe it was because of the impending doom that i was going to go back to singapore soon and face my piano/theory woes which i don't wanna talk about now, or maybe its just me. shes very bubbly, hyper and wants to keep walking around. :D haha its good in a sense that we won't feel bored la but when she starts to subtly lament bringing us out with them (angie her and dennis au), it starts to feel sucky on our part. cause they keep complaining our BORING we are and stuff like that like how we should better enjoy the environment and make the most of our time in greece/turkey. saying how we seem to be like slowing their shoppin down oso starts to make us feel dam bad la.
angie's about the same, and she is really a lot like wincy. haha both have their names derived from their chiense names too coming to think of it! haha~ both are pretty 'modern' in that sense, typical woman of their times la~ haha. but maybe wincy is a bit more mature than angie la hahhaa. shit hope none of them reads this. angie is a little bit shallow la~ heh, same thing as kuo, she likes to keep harping when we go out (especially in istanbul where there was quite a lot of shoppin to do) how she has to look after us 'little babies' and stuff. well, frankly, it doesnt matter if u go out wif me or not la~ i am perfectly comfortable walkign around alone and i perfectly noe how to get back to the hotel myself oso la! i mean i dun need u to constantly look after me, tellin me when to cross the road and lookin out for me constantly in a rather condescending manner. sigh, amybe my inferiorty complex is kicking in now haha.
dennis au now. hes suchhhhhhhhhhhhhhh a flirt i tell u, i bet u that this will end up at him through harold or sth xD but ya~ hes totallly worse than angie/kuo la. hes ONLY interested in hanging out with them and like totally disinterested in the rest of us. like come on, true that opposites attract and them being the only female teachers on the trip and him being the only male one there, obviously scandals are bound to arise la haha. but like please............... dun make it so obvious. its like hes only awake when nxt to them, when wif us, so sian like that. just want to sleep and udn care. at least angie/kuo will talk to us! or we can talk to them and they are pretty open la. arent guys supposed to be the more open/extroverted ones whereas girls are more demure, sensitive and stuff. seems like a reversal of roles now actually hahah~ so yea, of all the teachers there he was the one i least liked haha despite him being... my philo teacher? hhaha
oh last but not least, seokwhee! she was actually jus comin along on holiday la. so she basically was like us, going for the pure process of 'learning' and was thus not involved in the planning and organizing of the trip. shes actually pretty nice la~ at least she doesnt have airs like d.a xD and is actually more at our level in that sense la. well all in all she was nice and not evil like in sec2 where she always let us off late for recess! :( heh
4. gettin emo -
ah well, this just hit me in the last few days of the trip. as said earlier, maybe its cause of my impending doom but it mainly rested wif the teachers xD hahah.
well yea, they always harped on how we have been cooperative and being punctual and doing whatever we were told like meetin at this place at this time so that we can move off or sth la~ like after shoppin in taksim, grandbazaar and all those. but like EVERY single time, guess what? the teachers were late (not including seokwhee la) as in seriously, even after lize expressed his dissatisfaction at the 'debrief' where we weree all asked what we were unhappy with, what can be improved and what was our greatest takeaway (which happened once before we got on the bus for the airport), guess what? they were late again at the airport. not saying that it made us late to board the plane thus delaying us or wateva, but its more a matter of principals in that sense la. if ur gonna be late, then why the hell set the time for us to meet? and all the times it was them who decided the times. so it made a couple of us rather piqued la. and to think kuo even said 'oh yes sorry for us being late and wateva'... wat happened to once bitten twice shy?
then there was tzewei heh. hes such a big fat idiotic cheater i tell u la i almost died when i realized that i was sittin nxt to him on the flight back but lucky on the plane he was pretty nice la. like seriously la, whilst playing bridge on the bus wif him on the way to istanbul, i nearly DIED la. he cheats by lookin in ur specs for the reflection of ur cards, looks in the window oso to screen ur cards -.- like wth rite? and they so blatantly just talk in the game thus tellin his partner what he wants to throw la. i almost exploded >< well at least angie was still nice at that time hahaha and 安慰了我 a bit hahah. but nvm :D
all in all, all this gettin emo parts are just me la. i shall try to forget all this that has been written here about these people, hope they never read it and just leave it to me as a reminder about them in the trip hahah! anyway im moving on to rj and ill nvr see them again of sorts. xD unless angie decides to be nice and call us out for lunch/dinner or sth ahahahah!
5. the people -
ahhhaahahahahahhaha i must just LOL at this part.
the peolpe who were totally hilarious/left a deep impression on me durin the trip were weijie, ajay angie and sebastian haha. maybe i really have a thing to connect more to people not in my level as said by yh cause even on the previous trips like nz and stuff, i tended to connect more to people in other levels haha. not all la but some.
so first weijie, hes totally bisexual i tell u. well he likes julian frm choir and zenn the zebra cause why? they are cute! omg -.- and he WANTED TO KISS ZENN omg ............................................ geez someone SAVE ME lucky im not on his list or sth la. imagine that -.- so ya to all cute small people who read my blog going to rj next year, good luck to u ;) hahahha
then he also has fetishes for beatricecho, niu yi, felicia kuo and now angie. geez i shall leave out the details la.
moving on as i try to erase the memories of him tellin us his crushes -.-
nxt was ajay. hes total funny man and kennedy the second man! u shud just see how he goes kalimeraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa which means good morning/day in greek cause our greek tourguide speaks with this accent la so he totally just copied her and i tell u its TOTALLY HILARIOUS! heheheheheheh. junwei/tzewei oso just kept sayin how funny he is and being totally random cause they were all in the same room together heh.
ok moving on to sebastian, 1. he plays wow and so did ewen (they are sec3s) well at least i think they do la. and mervyn, sec4gep, plays wow too. so sadly for me, i playED wow hahahhahha! on first impression at lookin at him, ull think that hes ultimately poser cause of his specs, hair and dressin sense. but well, hes actually quite a nice person to be with la. at least hse not like totally screwin around wif everyone, hes more of just like, extroverted in a more fun way. i mean like i don't even noe him at all but he still comes up and does his stupid trick on me -.- and talks a bit la. pretty lame but at least ya~ hahahha pretty nice. and hes from NPCC not NCC la.. heh
